Rules and Rule Enforcers

How many times have you heard someone say, "There ought to be a law that--"?

As more and more people ask for more and more rules there has to be more and more rule enforcers.   Ever time you get a new rule you will have to pay a new rule enforcer.

We have so many rules that we have an extremely large rule enforcement bureaucracy.   The rule enforcement bureaucracy has become so large they now create more and more rules that benefits the enforcement bureaucracy.

Each new rule gives the enforcers more power and gives you less power.   This is how democracies lose their freedoms.   We have not lost our freedoms to a foreign invader.   We have simply given our freedoms away at each election.

The next time a member of the war bureaucracy tells you they are fighting to protect your freedoms, tell them they failed.

America is no longer the land of the free.   It is the land of the regulated.

Someday a child will be born who will ask, "Mom, what was freedom?"
