Chaos in Iraq benefits Israel

The reason the democratic congress recently approved funding for the Iraq war is because the democrats are afraid that if the U.S. troops are withdrawn from Iraq, things could get worse and the democrats would get blamed. They believe things WILL get worse, and the republicans will get blamed.

The Jewish lobby, AIPAC, is pleased that the US troops are stationed in Iraq. The troops act as a target of Arab hostilities. Israel citizens are becoming war weary. Better for Israel to have the U.S. fight its decades long religious war. The U. S. in Iraq acts as a buffer between Iran and Israel. The U. S. is also on one border with Syria and Israel on the other border.

Israel is happy with the chaos in Iraq. With the various tribes fighting each other Israel has little to worry about. If the Arab world ever unites under one Caliph, then Israel will have plenty to worry about.
